This was an absolute god send of a product to help post partum. The disposable underwear is so comfortable and cooling wipes and witch hazel spray helped the healing and makes you feel so much better. The peri bottle is easy to use and the gown is fantastic for sleep/ feeding (I didn’t use it through labour and delivery). Would highly recommend

I was so excited to receive this item as it looks like the perfect combination for labour. Unfortunately the gown and socks were not included.

    First baby, so worth it
I questioned prior to delivery, is this needed? A lot of theses items they provide for you at the hospital, could this be extra??? Now having delivered my first baby, I had to come review this kit because when I say it’s 10/10 worth it, I mean it!!!First up, gown and socks mega comfy. Gown is buttoned in the back so I could comfortably walk around the hospital and not moon everyone.Ice pads- arguably the best part of this kit. The relief is indescribable, easy to use cooling, and they don’t give you anything like this at the hospital. I bought more of these after.Underware- comfy, full coverage, holds all the fun later lol. I also bought more of these when I got home. Much better than the hospital ones.Foam and wipes- dermaplast and tucks are still undefeated, but these are both good too! Definitely used them later. The writes are convenient because they are one sheet that folds out to size of pad. Foam gets up in where you need relief.Peri bottle- 10/10 great bottle, SO much better than the hospital one.You won’t regret buying this kit either for yourself or a great gift. I’m so glad I splurged on something I thought would be extra, this kit was a necessity afterall. I love this brand and all their stuff.Bonus: their nipple kit is also saving me currently. Very thankful for these products.

    first time mom here. 🫶🏻
first time mom here. 🫶🏻I labored for almost 40 hours – most of which at home until I was at the hospital. My birthing story was uncomplicated (babe arrived healthy and I tore naturally) however I am so so glad for this set. I waited until the last minute to buy it and I used almost everything in this kit. I left the majority of this set at home, waiting for me in my bathroom when I needed it. I took the grey bag, socks and dress to the hospital as I knew the rest would be provided! The socks were great for the hospital. I loved how comfortable the dress was and how easy it was for my little one to nurse and immediately be on my chest after birth. The items provided by the hospital were just fine but I wanted to be ready at home with something … less industrial. I asked for extra dermoplast and tucks prior to being discharged with my little one. (Highly recommend doing that too, mama) I still use the grey bag in my diaper bag it’s a fantastic size. This is so mindfully crafted and when you use the products in tandem with each other it makes a world of difference. I love the peri bottle – what a genius invention. The foam is great. I didn’t dislike anything, honestly. I purchased more of the briefs and lived in those for about 6 weeks. Outside of this kit I bought tucks and dermoplast and the honey pot cooling postpartum then period pads. I have generally really sensitive skin and had no issues. I try new products on my forearm before applying anywhere else, especially on the holiest of holys after enduring birth. Check out the ingredients and see if they will work for you too. I didn’t realize the amount of waste generated after birth. Tbh I needed an extra trash can in the bathroom hah. The little caddy helped keep the things I needed close. I used all but one “padsicle”. Everything arrived just in time. It made easing into postpartum and motherhood so much more manageable. Things like this make living in the 21st century a true blessing.Thank you for looking out for the mothers as much as the babies, fridamom.Highly recommend 🤍

    Nice Products
I feel great about having this product ready for whenever I go into labor. It’s nice to know that I won’t be totally unprepared, no matter what happens (or when). I will update this review after baby arrives, as well.First of all, this came in a bigger box than I expected and was definitely heavier than I expected! I’m on modified bed rest but figured I could go down to grab this when it arrived at my apartment. For those of you who were told by their doctor not to lift anything heavy, you can probably get away with it, but you might want to have someone else grab it for you instead. The packaging was very nice, I think the products look great. I tried on the gown, socks, and a pair of the underwear and I think they will be nice! I still haven’t decided if I want to wear the gown during labor or just put it on after, but I am going to wash it beforehand with Dreft, because I think that would be nice and out of the box I thought it smelled a little bit like disinfectant or something. It for just about right on me (195 lbs, 32 weeks pregnant), I like the pockets and the snap front for skin to skin.I was a little worried that the whole caddy of stuff wasn’t going to fit on the back of the toilet, but it does! Even with the seat or lid up. But if you don’t have enough space between the toilet and the wall, it might not work very well.Again, I’m impressed so far and I’ll update after baby is born.Update:Baby Arrived on his due date, 9 lbs 4 oz! Here’s my updated review of these products after using them.Hospital gown: I liked it a lot while in labor when I got to the point where I didn’t want to be in my normal clothes anymore. It was easy to get an epidural while wearing it, and I wore it during labor and when he was born! It worked great for skin to skin afterwards, but it got so messy I knew I didn’t want to keep it, so I had the nurse cut the shoulders of it so I could take it off with my IV still in, and I threw it away. I really liked it while using it though!Grippy socks: I did use them for a while, but I wouldn’t say they are an improvement over any other hospital socks, except that they were only ankle height. I will say that they didn’t fit well when my feet were swollen after labor though.Postpartum Underwear: I used these only when I got home from the hospital, they were great and comfy but I didn’t feel the need or desire to buy more of them. The extras from the hospital and depends were great too.Ice Pack Pads: These are amazing, and I bought two more boxes of just these pads from Target when I ran out. They are such a relief when you are particularly sore and want something other than a normal pad.Witch Hazel Pad Liners: These are ok. The concept is cool, that they are long and cover the whole pad, but in reality they bunch up or fall down while you are pulling up the pad or while wearing it. I also found that I greatly prefer just buying containers of Tuck’s and laying them along the pad. The name brand is so much better because the Tuck’s pads are thicker and have more witch hazel on them and are more cooling. I did really like that this pack of liners is more portable than an entire container of Tuck’s, so I keep it in my bag for when I go places and need to be able to change my pad.Witch Hazel Foam: I really liked this stuff! Extra cooling and soothing, and it felt like it got more into the nooks and crannies that were hurting down there, and helped everything feel better. There is a lot in one pump bottle, too! I would have bought a second bottle if my Target ever had it in stock.Angled Peri Bottle: I love that it’s angled and you can easily reach everywhere with the water. I love that it can hold more water than the bottle from the hospital. I don’t love that at 2 weeks postpartum, suddenly it seems that the bottle leaks or drips a lot near the spout. Still worth it though, and I still use it every time despite the drips.Carry bag: Love it for when I’m out and about, but I don’t bring everything with me because I’m mostly just at home and don’t want to keep packing and unpacking the things I need in the bathroom. I keep the hospital Peri Bottle in it with the witch hazel liners from this set, along with some maxi pads and some underwear or depends. Then I stuff the whole bag in the diaper bag and I can handle a bathroom trip when away from home.

Great essentials — but delivery gown is not for size small
I love the Frida Mom products and this kit was a no-brainer for delivery prep. I know that the gown will be tossed after delivery, but it is SWIMMING on me, even close to 9 months pregnant. It is SO soft, and love that it has snaps for both nursing and down the back, which will make great functions when it comes time for delivery (if I decide to wear it), but I may use something else all together. Just a caution to other smaller-framed women (I was about 120lb pre-pregnancy). I recommend all of the other products in this kit, but in my opinion, buy your delivery gown elsewhere.
